"Peel, core, and chop 3 apples.
Put in a pot with 1/2 cup dried sour cherries,
1 cup apple cider, 2 Tbsp. lemon juice, 1/4 tsp.
ground cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Bring to a
boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat, cover
partially, and simmer 20 minutes until softened.
Sweeten with honey if desired."
